HOW TO ENTER

To be eligible, entries must be completed and received on or by the closing date of the contest.

All entries must include the following: Name of entrant, parent or guardian(s) first and last name, address, daytime phone number, email address, date and a description of your ticket design. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

All entries shall become the property of the MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee. The MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee and the Canadian Hockey League is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Entries can be mailed to Kitchener Rangers, MasterCard Memorial Cup Design the Ticket Contest, P.O. Box  43013 Eastwood Square, Kitchener, ON, N2H 6S9, emailed to mfortin@kitchenerrangers.com or dropped off in person to Kitchener Rangers, 400 East Avenue, Kitchener, ON N2H 1Z6.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

The theme portrayed in your design should be what you think is the most memorable moment of the Memorial Cup in the last 90 years and/or what the Memorial Cup means to you.

If you are entering a hard copy, please ensure it is packaged well and your name is on the back of each page entered. Your entry must be no larger than 8.5x11 inches.

If you are emailing your submission, it must be no smaller than 4 x 4 inches in size and 300 dpi. Submissions may be sent as jpg, tiff, or pdf files.

CONTEST RULES

The contest is open to the general public who are under the age of 19. Employees of MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee, the Canadian Hockey League or any member team of the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League or Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.

The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.

Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.

By claiming the prize, the winner and its guardian(s) authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which the MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee and the Canadian Hockey League may deem appropriate.

In accepting the prize, the winner, and guardian(s), acknowledges that the MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee and the Canadian Hockey League may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).

The person(s) who is chosen as being the winner(s) of the specific prize will be required to answer a skill-testing question before the prize is awarded to them.

Detailed contest rules applicable to this contest, including contest entry dates, how to enter, and prize value, number and any restrictions applicable to these prizes are available upon request from the MasterCard Memorial Cup Design the Ticket Contest.

Winner’s guardian(s) must sign a release form as prepared and accepted by the MasterCard Memorial Cup Design the Ticket Contest acknowledging their acceptance and understanding of the complete contest rules.

The MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee and the Canadian Hockey League retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

The MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Committee and the Canadian Hockey League reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.

Approximate value of prize(s) is $650 - $2,000, depending on residence of winner.

If prize involves travel, winner and guardian(s) must agree to the airline's Terms and Conditions of travel. Once confirmed, trip dates and travel accommodations cannot be changed by winner; however, travel is subject to availability, blackout dates, and/or change due to circumstances beyond Sponsors' and Administrators' control. Winner and guardian(s) must travel on the same dates, itinerary, and fare class. No extensions will be permitted, and any unused travel will be forfeited. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and may not be separated. All tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used.
